Becca is not a new face on the continent when it comes to good music composition and originality.

The queen of Afro-soul was rejected earlier on in her career when she tried contesting in a major music reality show in her home country, Ghana but little did she know, God has willed her destiny and success in a different way.

The songstress is among the top artists in Africa with international market appeal and domination, her Daa Ke Daa single even though a slow and emotional jam was a global hit fetching awards, recognition and establishing her brand as the most sort after on the continent.

Many wonder and ponder, why the switch from her trademark cool songs to riding on afro-pop beat with her new single featuring a top Nigerian act, Patoranking titled ‘Na Wash’. The song created lots and lots of controversies with questions of she losing her core fans base being the major talking point but one analysis carried out revealed she is not totally changing her style but rather adjusting to the new trend of music on the African continent and infusing that into her style to continue to be relevant and not be washed out of the system as the rest.

Latest check on how the video which was directed by a renowned director, Clarence Peters was doing on video viewing channel, You Tube, though it did not come as a shock to see how the video is giving other top videos from other top artists in Africa a tight competition as the most watched video within a short period of time, the chills came when almost everyone who watched and listened to the song was happy with this new style and applauded her.

Some called on her not to totally go off from her original style, but she should continue dropping one or two songs like that for them.
