Côte d’Ivoire’s President, Alassane Quattara, Announces That He Will Be Running For A Third Term In The Presidential Election In October

President of Côte d’Ivoire, His Excellency Alassane Quattara, has announced that he would be running for a third term in the Presidential election in October.

According to the him, he would not not seek re-election in March as his preferred candidate, Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly died in July. We hope and pray that his decision to contest in the Presidential election and not re-election should not bring about misunderstanding in the country because we know what some few years ago.
