The Diaspora Dialogues: Afri Style Lounge Presented Conversations with Koshie Mills at Kempinski Accra Powered by Scents of Africa

Hollywood Visionary Creator and Executive Producer, Koshie Mills presented a live audience and an intimate conversation with a panel discussion at Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel Accra, Ghana. The panelists were represented by Berla Mundi, TV and Radio personality; Mame Adjei, a model and an entrepreneur; Efya Nokturnal, a musician (Afro pop singer).

The show is usually designed to bridge the gap between Africans from Africa and African descendants in the Diaspora. This interactive discussion was centred on “Who Is Defining African Beauty”. The Panelists were asked favorable and thought provoking questions which called for the right answers to be given. Berla’s memories on feeling beautiful really started when she began her career, where she was reaching out and touching lives in so many ways. Efya represent the very person who she wants to be, and Mame was told she’s pretty whiles growing up but she never believed it till she was in college. The casual conversations just got better with the panlists telling about themselves and how they made it through.

Born in Ghana, West Africa and curated in Los Angeles Koshie’s initial experience in the entertainment industry came from managing of her three successful sons who are all actors. Kwame Boateng (Everybody Hates Chris; The Plug), Kofi Siriboe (Queen’s Sugar, Girls Trip) Kwesi Boakye (Claws, Colony). There were Q&A sessions for the audience to feel a part of what was going on. Diaspora Dialogue’s “Konversations with Koshie ” was presented by Afri Style Launge in collaboration with Scent of Africa. See the images below!
