Former ‘Stars of the Future’ runner up, Ramzy maintains he was convicted of crime he did not commit

Ramzy was starting to have a sky rocketing music career after participating in ‘stars of the future’ years back.

The talented singer’s career took bad turn when he was convicted and jailed for car theft in 2007 and was scheduled to spend 20 years in prison.

Luck however was on his side when he was recently giving a presidential pardon, giving him another chance to breathe fresh air and freedom to live his life in a meaningful way again.

Speaking to TV3’s entertainment desk, the singer maintained, he was wrongly convicted for a crime he did not commit but says he sees it to be the will God in sharping him to be the man he is today, to carry His word to world through his redefined music.

He went on to say, most of his very close allies abandon him after his conviction and refused to visit him in prison but he is not looking at that now, instead he is forging on with more strength from God.

However, he was quick to point out his major worry now is society’s perception about ex-convicts and how they struggle to start new lives. He is going to do his best to show he is a changed man for good.
