The originator of ‘Banku Music’, Mr Eazi has had a tough 24-hour on social media over his tweet suggesting that Ghanaian music has influenced the Nigerian music greatly. This tweet didn’t go down well with his Nigerian fans who took to the same micro-blogging platform to throw some few words back at him, some even went to the point of calling him to apologize.
Some of Ghanaian celebrities have also shown their support to the musician, heavily defending him over the tweet calling fans to calm down and take it as part of entertainment.
Juliet Ibrahim, Medikal, Wanlov and more threw their weight behind Mr. Eazi.
