Ghana’s Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Reach 3091 – A Rise of 372 Infections from the Last Updates

The number of Coronavirus cases in Ghana has risen to 3091, latest figures from the Ghana Health Service reveal. This represents a jump of 372 new infections from the last update. A new case detected in the Jaman North District makes Bono Region the 13th region to record a case. The Ghana Health Service website also revealed 303 recoveries and 18 deaths as of Thursday, 7th May 2020.

The regional breakdown is as follows:

Greater Accra Region – 2,517

Ashanti Region – 165

Eastern Region – 95

Western North Region – 56

Central Region 50

Western Region 32

Volta Region 30

Upper East egion – 26

Oti Region – 23

Upper West Region – 19

Northern Region – 13

North East Region – 2

Bono Region – 1

Savanah Region – 0

Ahafo Region – 0

Bono East Region – 0
