The just ended No.1 modeling competition in Africa, Ghana’s Next Super Model held last weekend saw the beautiful Sephora Hadjaratou Dem, Yaw Emefa, and Diamond Victoria sweep off the awards. The event saw Edem Smith as the anchor and other media personalities like Deborah Vanessa better known as Sister Derby, and Jay Foley among others.
The 2nd edition of Ghana’s Next Super Model Competition 2019 grand finale was successfully organised by multiple award-winner Sparkzuta international in collaboration with Isis Models Africa and 31 International Creative Team Members which also saw Hitz FM 103.9’s Mike Gizo as an event manager.
The well attended event was held at No. 1 Oxford Street Mall and Suite, Osu RE and Karma Conference Centre due to high demand of tickets in Accra on Saturday 25th January 2020 respectively. The Ghana’s Next Super Model Competition is second to none modeling competition that showcases models on the global spotlight and give young talented persons seeking a career in modelling a unique opportunity to not only show what they’ve got but also win mouthwatering prizes. This year’s edition came with bigger benefits for applicants and finalists.
The competition attracted both local and international media coverage and the judging panelists consisted of international scouts as promised by the CEO of the Sparkzuta Modeling Agency, Sparkzuta Julius Zuta. Our winner Yaw Emefa (male winner), Sephora Hadjaratou (female winner), and Diamond Victoria (2nd runner up) were crowned by Jay Forley, Sister Derby, (TV Personality), and Rebecca Kwabi, current Miss Ghana at the No. 1 Oxford Street Hotel opposite Koala.
Sparkzuta International Modeling Agency is a modeling agency is well established and funded by Spark Julius Zuta in Accra, Ghana. It’s aim is to discover and mentor aspiring Ghanaians or international models living and schooling or working in Ghana.
The Ghana Next Super Model Competition 2019 Grand Finale was strictly by invitation with limited VIP Tickets but due to high demand, the organisors decided to organize a fashion show at Karma Conference Centre for those who didn’t have tickets but came out of love to support models, designers, or the show which cost the organisers more due to lack of sponsorship. The designers that showcased were Steveray from Nigeria, J’karta, Jants Collections, Djamarkou, Eugene’DWise, Afro-Cuban wanted Vogue and many more.
