King Ayisoba “the king of kologo music”, is here again with the fifth edition of the “Batakari Night” festival.
This year’s edition promises to be an exciting one and is on the 3rd of February,2018 at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.In fact it’s going to be kai kai kai!!!!”. King Ayisoba told ProfileAbility.com with much humor.
The Batakari festival is a night of music and cultural display of the Northerners which therefore encourage Ghanaians to represent in their northern smock(Batakari) if possible.
Artists on the bill includes Wiyaala, Atongo Zimba, Kwaw kese, Yaa Pono, Bego Star, African Head Charge(Jamaica), Joan(Holland), Kravali(Austria) amongst others.
King Ayisoba has decided to elevate this year’s edition with his performance alongside Olonguazi(Boomgiman).
Olonguazi(Boomgiman) is Ghana’s finest “Raga Don Dada” who has step in the shoes of the legendary Terry Bonchaka who introduced King Ayisoba on stage for the first time in his career. The duo will grace the event with performance of some songs produced and performed by both Terry Bonchaka and King Ayisoba. Olonguazi(Boomgiman) is set to thrill his fans with his amazing performances.
Batakari Night, hitherto is an annual celebration of music and culture from northern Ghana with performances from home grown and international artists and it has come to stay.
