President Nana Akufo-Addo yesterday evening addressed the nation on Ghana’s case of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the President, borders will still remain closed till further notice but restrictions on the number of passengers in airplanes and cars have been lifted. What this means is that from today, commercial vehicles such as trotro’s, taxis and buses would take full capacity as they used to. The wearing of the face mask is still mandatory in the airplanes and the commercial vehicles.
Well, the number of people allowed to attend private burials still remain maximum of 100 persons. However, Ghanaian nationals living Abroad would be given special dispensation to evacuate them to Ghana and subjected to the mandatory quarantine. As Ghanaians, let us all adhere to the safety measures and be extra careful about this virus as some restrictions have been lifted again. Please listen to the President Nana Addo in the video below. Thank you.
