UNFPA Ghana Opens an Orange Support Centre at the Domestic Voilence Secretariat in Osu Accra

The UNFPA Ghana has finally opened an Orange Support Centre at the Domestic Violence Secretariat in Osu Accra. You can now have the privacy to report all domestic violence cases and there will be professionals, doctors, counsellors, etc to support you. There’s also the Boame (Help) App or call center with number: 0800 111-222. In this regard, they’re leaving no one behind, so report cases, protect and save our women before it’s too late.

The UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador, Claudia Lumor said on her Instagram page, “it’s a huge milestone in our fight against sexual and gender based violence in the country; a subject that I’m passionate about, she added.

The main goal of the Domestic Violence Secretariat (DVS) is to facilitate the elimination of domestic violence from the Ghanaian society, create family cohesion and provide for a peacefull environment for national development. See the images below!
